Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RTL Master, including the RTL Master Shopify application, website, related services, features, support, and functionality (collectively, the "Service").

The Service is operated by RTL Master ("RTL Master," "we," "us," or "our").

By installing, accessing, purchasing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Service.

1. The Service

RTL Master provides tools designed to help Shopify merchants localize and adapt their online stores, including features that may provide:

  • right-to-left ("RTL") storefront layouts;
  • RTL/LTR layout switching;
  • automatic and machine-generated translations;
  • manual translation tools;
  • theme and storefront translations;
  • notification translations;
  • Hebrew and Arabic fonts;
  • custom styling and CSS functionality;
  • language-related configuration; and
  • other localization tools and related functionality.

Available features depend on your subscription plan and may change from time to time.

We may add, modify, limit, replace, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available indefinitely.

2. Shopify

RTL Master is an independent third-party application and is not Shopify.

Your use of Shopify remains governed by your agreements with Shopify. Certain RTL Master functionality depends on Shopify, Shopify APIs, Shopify themes, Shopify Markets, Shopify infrastructure, and other systems controlled by Shopify.

We are not responsible for:

  • Shopify outages or interruptions;
  • changes to Shopify APIs, policies, permissions, functionality, or technical requirements;
  • Shopify restricting, changing, or terminating access to functionality used by RTL Master;
  • changes made by Shopify to themes, checkout functionality, localization systems, billing systems, or other platform features; or
  • actions taken by Shopify concerning your store or account.

Changes made by Shopify may affect RTL Master functionality without prior notice.

3. Your Account and Store

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining control over your Shopify account;
  • ensuring that people authorized to manage your store have appropriate permissions;
  • the accuracy and legality of information and content in your store;
  • reviewing changes made through RTL Master;
  • maintaining appropriate backups before making significant theme or storefront changes; and
  • complying with all laws applicable to your business, products, customers, advertising, storefront, and content.

You must not use the Service in a way that is unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, harmful, or that interferes with the Service or other users.

4. Translations

RTL Master may provide automatic, machine-generated, pre-made, assisted, or other translations.

Translations may contain errors, omissions, mistranslations, inappropriate terminology, inaccurate formatting, or content that is unsuitable for a particular context, jurisdiction, audience, product, or purpose.

You are solely responsible for reviewing translations before relying on or publishing them.

RTL Master does not warrant or guarantee:

  • linguistic accuracy;
  • grammatical accuracy;
  • legal or regulatory accuracy;
  • cultural appropriateness;
  • suitability for a particular market or audience;
  • accuracy of product descriptions, policies, warnings, instructions, or other translated information;
  • preservation of meaning during translation; or
  • that translations will comply with laws applicable to your business.

You should obtain qualified professional translation or legal review where accuracy is important, including for legal notices, product safety information, regulated products, medical information, financial information, contractual terms, consumer disclosures, or other sensitive material.

You remain responsible for all content displayed in your store, including content generated or translated through RTL Master.

5. Theme and Storefront Modifications

RTL Master may modify, inject, generate, configure, or apply code, styling, translations, settings, theme resources, or other changes to your Shopify storefront or theme.

Shopify themes and third-party applications vary significantly, and modifications can interact with existing code, customizations, applications, scripts, or later updates.

You acknowledge that:

  • visual inconsistencies may occur;
  • manual adjustments may be required;
  • certain themes or third-party applications may not be fully compatible;
  • Shopify, theme developers, or other applications may make changes that affect RTL Master's functionality;
  • changes to one part of a theme may affect another part of your storefront; and
  • updating or replacing your theme may require RTL Master configuration to be reapplied or adjusted.

You are responsible for reviewing and testing your storefront after enabling RTL Master features.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RTL Master is not responsible for losses caused by conflicts with Shopify, themes, custom code, third-party applications, merchant modifications, or services outside our control.

6. Compatibility

We may identify certain themes, applications, Shopify features, languages, or configurations as supported.

"Supported" does not mean that we guarantee perfect or permanent compatibility.

Compatibility may change as Shopify, theme developers, third-party applications, browsers, devices, or other services are updated.

We may discontinue support for particular themes, technologies, integrations, or configurations when reasonably necessary.

7. Merchant Content

You retain ownership of content that you or your store provide to the Service.

You grant RTL Master a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to access, host, process, reproduce, modify, translate, transmit, and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide the Service;
  • generate and manage translations;
  • implement RTL or localization functionality;
  • provide technical support;
  • maintain and secure the Service; and
  • comply with applicable law.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions required for RTL Master to process content you provide to the Service.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may depend on or interact with third-party services, including Shopify, hosting providers, translation technologies, infrastructure providers, support systems, and other service providers.

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, security, functionality, accuracy, acts, omissions, or changes.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

9. Subscription Plans and Billing

Certain features require a paid subscription.

Available plans, pricing, usage limits, translation credits, trials, and features are shown in RTL Master, on the Shopify App Store, or on our website.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • subscription charges are recurring;
  • charges are processed through Shopify's billing systems;
  • applicable taxes may be added;
  • you authorize applicable charges when accepting a subscription through Shopify; and
  • you are responsible for charges incurred before cancellation becomes effective.

Shopify's billing procedures and applicable Shopify terms also apply to charges processed through Shopify.

We may change our plans or pricing. Changes will apply prospectively and will be communicated or presented through Shopify or the Service where required.

10. Translation Credits and Usage Limits

Certain plans may include translation credits or other usage-based limits.

Credits and limits:

  • have no cash value;
  • cannot be sold or transferred independently from your account;
  • may be subject to plan-specific limits, reset periods, or expiration rules shown in the Service or Shopify App Store listing; and
  • may be changed for future billing periods or future subscriptions.

We may take reasonable measures to prevent abuse, excessive automated use, circumvention of usage limits, or activity that creates an unreasonable technical burden on the Service.

11. Trials

Where a free trial is offered, eligibility and duration are determined by the offer presented to you through Shopify or RTL Master.

At the end of a trial, your paid subscription may begin automatically if you accepted a recurring application charge through Shopify, subject to Shopify's billing process.

Trials may be limited to new users or otherwise restricted to prevent abuse.

12. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel the Service through the mechanisms made available by Shopify or by uninstalling the App, as applicable.

Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for charges already incurred unless:

  • required by applicable law;
  • required under Shopify's billing rules; or
  • expressly approved by us.

Usage-based charges or other amounts incurred before cancellation may remain payable.

13. Support

We may provide support through email, chat, documentation, or other channels.

Unless we have entered into a separate written service-level agreement with you, we do not guarantee:

  • a specific response time;
  • a specific resolution time;
  • continuous support availability; or
  • that every requested customization or compatibility issue can be resolved.

14. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • interfere with or disrupt the Service;
  • attempt to bypass security controls, rate limits, subscription limits, or technical restrictions;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
  • use the Service to distribute malicious code;
  • attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
  • use the Service in violation of applicable law;
  • resell or provide access to the Service except as expressly permitted;
  • use automated means that create an unreasonable load on our infrastructure; or
  • use the Service in a manner that could harm RTL Master, Shopify, other merchants, or third parties.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe that:

  • you have violated these Terms;
  • payment is overdue or unsuccessful;
  • your use presents a security risk;
  • your use may harm our systems, Shopify, another user, or a third party;
  • your use is unlawful or abusive;
  • Shopify requires or makes technical changes necessitating suspension;
  • continued provision of the Service would expose us to legal or regulatory risk; or
  • suspension is reasonably necessary to protect the Service.

Where reasonably practicable, we may provide notice before termination, but we are not required to do so in urgent security, legal, abuse, or platform-related situations.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

16. Intellectual Property

RTL Master and its underlying software, technology, interface, branding, designs, documentation, and other materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights in our intellectual property are transferred to you.

17. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding RTL Master, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation, provided that doing so does not grant us ownership of your confidential information or store content.

18. Privacy

Our processing of personal information is described in the RTL Master Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of RTL Master complies with privacy and data-protection laws applicable to your store.

Where RTL Master processes personal information relating to your customers solely on your behalf, you are generally responsible for determining the purposes for which that information is processed, subject to applicable law and any separate data-processing agreement.

19. Security

We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical measures designed to protect the Service and information processed through it.

However, no internet-based system or method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for your Shopify store, accounts, devices, credentials, and personnel.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

We disclaim all warranties, representations, and conditions not expressly stated in these Terms, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

Without limiting the above, we do not warrant that:

  • the Service will always be available or uninterrupted;
  • the Service will be error-free;
  • every theme, application, language, device, browser, or Shopify feature will be compatible;
  • translations will be accurate;
  • RTL or styling changes will display identically across all storefront configurations;
  • defects will always be corrected;
  • data will never be lost;
  • third-party services will remain available; or
  • the Service will meet every specific business or legal requirement you have.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

21. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RTL MASTER AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, SALES, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, GOODWILL, DATA, STORE TRAFFIC, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES MAY OCCUR.

This includes losses arising from:

  • translation errors or omissions;
  • theme or storefront changes;
  • incompatibility with Shopify, themes, or third-party applications;
  • service downtime;
  • Shopify platform changes;
  • lost or corrupted data;
  • third-party services; or
  • decisions made based on content generated through the Service.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

  1. US$100; or
  2. the amounts actually paid by you for RTL Master during the six months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

The limitations in this section apply regardless of the legal theory of liability.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

22. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless RTL Master and its owners, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and contractors from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and reasonable costs arising from:

  • your store or business;
  • content you provide, publish, or translate;
  • products or services you sell;
  • your violation of applicable law;
  • your violation of third-party rights;
  • your misuse of the Service; or
  • your material violation of these Terms.

This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results directly from our fraud, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

23. Changes to the Service

We may modify the Service to:

  • improve or update functionality;
  • address security or technical issues;
  • adapt to Shopify or third-party changes;
  • comply with laws or platform requirements; or
  • change our commercial offering.

Features may therefore change, be replaced, or become unavailable.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice where required by applicable law.

Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

25. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to any rights that cannot legally be waived, courts of competent jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect, and the affected provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law.

27. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.

28. Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, corporate reorganization, or transfer of the RTL Master business.

29. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly agreed between you and RTL Master, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
